OXFORD YORK HEALTH CARE (OYHC) was established in September 2003. We are not for profit service and do not receive any government assistance. OYHC system was created the hard way. Owner Donald Oxford York worked a great deal of overtime to purchase materials, medical equipment, licensing and registration, team education, personal investment and training equipment to carry forth his originally doubted vision.

Within the first three months, OYHC offered services to over 250 clients in the Montreal region. The OYHC staff takes pride in their work and our influence will be contagious. We are a group of highly respected, honest and truly compassionate professionals. OYHC is continuously growing, building respect and gaining support from our clients daily.

OYHC was created due to the massive cut backs in health. Health care is suffering due to strong economical and governmental pressures. The result of this has been overworked staff and other issues within the hospital settings leading to a diminished the quality of care. OYHC is the first health care services managed, lead and owned by health care professionals. Other industries are managed and lead by business men and women, who neither have direct experience in the health field or experience caring for others. How could such services provide quality care and compassion, without knowing what it is like to care for others?

The OYHC staff consists of professional health care workers in the field of nursing, respiratory therapy, kinesiology, health fitness and education, and psychology.

Our goal is to provide quality health care services and health education at schools, nursing homes, hospitals and also within the comfort of home. Moreover, to provide compassion, care and extend life in order to minimize the need for in hospital care. The need for quality health care service is growing due to our aging population.

Most recently, we have created wellness services for the community and corporations within the workplace. We will research and coordinate a unique program to suit your every need. Some services offered on work site include: Health & Injury consultations, health evaluations and testing clinics, personal training, martial arts, health and fitness classes, nutrition evaluations, Back care and Ergonomics.                                                                              

Our vision is to become leader within the health care service industry through having the ability to extend life, providing continued quality and humanization in care.  At OYHC, our professionals have been in the field of health care from 5 years to 25 years.  Our professionals are dynamic, fun and multilingual.
